Primary (upper) and secondary (lower) tumor sites for a right breast
adenocarcinoma in a 71 y woman. Images are displayed in dual orthogonal viewers
linked through the cursor. Data were acquired in 2D-mode (septa extended) on an
ECAT Exact HR PET scanner after injection of 11 mCi of 18F-FDG.
Filtered backprojection images were reconstructed with a Hanning filter and an
isotropic spatial resolution of 8 mm. Sinograms corrected for attenuation and
scatter, were first smoothed with an isotropic gaussian filter with 8 mm (FWHM)
prior to reconstruction with OSEM and 4 iterations.
